Handa Copper Corporation (HCC) is a minerals industry explorer, with exploration assets in the Republic of Congo (RoC). The RoC's mining potential remains largely unexploited even though the country hosts mineral belts that are geologically similar to its richly endowed neighbour to the east, the Democratic Republic of Congo. HCC's exploration licenses are located in the southwestern part of the RoC whose economy is largely dependent upon declining offshore oil production. Infrastructure, including road, rail networks and hydroelectric power are largely concentrated in this region as are major population and logistical centres. The government of the RoC is implementing plans to diversify the nation's economy and envisages the minerals sector as an engine of future economic growth. HCC's management team have extensive experience in project generation, grass roots and advanced stage exploration, and project evaluation to full feasibility.
